Of course, I agree with what seem to be the major implications of the chart: the militarization of the U.S. is far advanced, and the push for American global military hegemony should rightly be opposed by other nations. Still, I wonder to what extent these figures reflect the spending on a volunteer military here vs. the presence of conscription abroad.
