Funny that you posted this just after I challenged my friend Rob at LGM to provide data for his claim of Europe “lurching” into austerity.
There’s been some blogospheric debate around this issue today, with Veronique de Rugy and others challenging Paul Krugman on his claims of failed austerity. The fact is that Greece has imposed serious spending cuts – but virtually no other European government has.
